Step-by-step instructions

1. Open formatting mode

First, open your Ticket overview in "Ticksts2.0"
In the "Layout" section, you can now select "Conditional formatting"to start formatting mode.

Now place the Condition type fixed – i.e., how long after the due date the color should refer to.

You have the following options:

  • "In days" with the value 1 means that the due date in one day is achieved.

  • "In hours" with the value 1 displays tickets that in an hour are due.

  • "In minutes" with the value 5 mark tickets that in five minutes are due.

  • "A few minutes ago" with the value 5 concerns tickets whose due date is five minutes over is.

  • "Hours ago" with the values 1 or 5 shows tickets that one or five hours overdue are.

  • "Days ago" with the value 1 mark tickets that already one day overdue are.

This allows you to finely control which tickets are highlighted in color depending on their proximity to the due date

3. Select color

You can assign a separate Color so that you can recognize them at a glance in the ticket overview. The color can be set either directly via a Hex color code enter – for example #FF0000 for a vibrant red – or you can click with the right-click on the color field and select a color from the list of suggestions.

For your reference, here is an example of useful color coding in relation to due dates:

  • Newly created (Due in 1 day) → #0033ff (Blue)

  • Due soon (in 1 hour) → #00bfff (Light blue)

  • Due very soon (in 5 minutes) → #44ff00 (Light green)

  • Slightly overdue (for 5 minutes) → #fbff00 (Yellow)

  • Significantly overdue (1 hour ago) → #ff8800 (Orange)

  • Critically overdue (5 hours ago) → #FF0000 (Red)

  • Extremely overdue (since 1 day) → #ff00f7 (Magenta)

These color codes help you visually differentiate the status of your tickets—depending on how urgent they are.
