Instructions for adjusting the appearance

Customization of the appearance of the ServiceBoard (Nexus)

The file "appsettings.Production.json" in the installation directory (e.g., C:\Program Files (x86)\c-entron software gmbh\c-entron Nexus\) allows you to customize the appearance of the ServiceBoard (Nexus).

In this section, you can now change the following items in the "Branding" area:

Favicon:

For example: "img/logos/Re-Action-Ico.png"

The favicon is a small icon that appears in the browser tab, bookmarks bar, or on the mobile phone home screen and serves to quickly recognize a website.

Logo:

For example: "img/logos/Re-Action Phoenix only.png"

The logo is displayed in the open ServiceBoard in Light Mode (light design) at the top left next to "ServiceBoard."

LogoDarkMode:

For example: "img/logos/Re-Action only Phoenix black.png"

The logo is displayed in the open ServiceBoard in Dark Mode (dark design) at the top left next to "ServiceBoard."

Folder where the images are stored

You can store the images/PNGs used in this folder:

C:\Program Files (x86)\c-entron software gmbh\c-entron Nexus\wwwroot\img\logos

Title:

Name or heading of your ServiceBoard

For example: "Re-Action ServiceBoard,"

ShowLogoWithTitle:

Display logo with title

True = the logo is displayed with the title.

False = the logo is not displayed with the title.

LoginPageText:

For example: "Your clever ticket system – fast response guaranteed!"

The text that on the login page appears—e.g., greetings, instructions, or input prompts.

Deposit URLs for legal notice, terms and conditions, and privacy policywhich you can use from your website, for example, to ensure that all legal information is displayed correctly in ServiceBoard.

LegalNoticeUrl:

URL to your privacy policy

Privacy policy - provides information about which personal data is processed on a website and for what purpose—it is required by law and protects user rights.

PrivacyPolicyUrl:

URL to your legal notice

Legal notice - information required by law on websites with information about the operator and serves the purpose of legal transparency.

Terms and Conditions URL:

URL to your terms and conditions

Terms and conditions (General Terms and Conditions) - Pre-formulated contract terms that apply, for example, to online purchases and must be provided to the customer in advance.

These can also be accessed via the Setup Wizard be set up:

HexColor:

(short for Hexadecimal color) is a color code in Hexadecimal format

Example:
#3399FF → a mixture of 20% red, 60% green, and 100% blue → a light blue

Restart Nexus service

Please note: In order for the change to be displayed correctly in the browser, after changing the appsettings.Production.json file, you must first Restart Nexus service (To do this, enter "Services" in the Windows search bar, open the app, search for "c-entron Nexus," right-click on it, and select "Restart.") and, if necessary, in the browser CTRL and F5 click to update.
