AI integration - Overview

Starting with release 2.0.2503.x, we have revised, improved, and expanded our interface for AI integration.

For example, an interface was implemented with the service provider IONOS, which offers the AI Model Hub, a GDPR-compliant AI solution hosted in Germany with open source models such as Llama or Mistral.

In this article, you will find general information and recommendations about the individual providers and a constantly growing overview of our AI integration.

Since the field of AI is growing very dynamically and we would like to further expand the AI functionalities in ServiceBoard and ERP, our recommendation regarding the appropriate models may change in the future.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Our prompts are specially adapted to the respective modules and areas of application. For example, they were used in documents on Product descriptions and in tickets on Descriptions of times and are only intended for this purpose. They are not intended for generating other texts.

The new type of AI integration now includes live querying of the models.
This means you are free to choose between all models offered by the provider.

Since different models incur different costs, we recommend that you stick to the models we have tested.
Of course, you can also use other models – however, we accept no responsibility for any costs incurred or reduced quality of the AI results.

OPENAI (ChatGPT)

The connection is made directly to the US company OpenAI.
With your API key, you are responsible for compliance with data protection regulations and may need to enter into a DPA with OpenAI.

Our implementation was based on the model "gpt-5" tested – use this model for the best results.

IONOS AI Model Hub (Llama)

This is where the connection to the GDPR-compliant solution from the service provider IONOS takes place.
With your API key, you can use the full power of AI in compliance with data protection regulations.

Our implementation was based on the model "meta-llama/Llama-3.3-70B-Instruct" tested – use this model for the best results.

The models mentioned are managed by the respective service providers.
Changes to the available models are beyond our control – if models are removed, this directly affects the providers.

However, the live query gives you access to the latest and currently available models at any time.
