Basics

If there is a direct DB connection, this export is performed on the local PC running c-entron.NET.
For web service connections, this export is performed by the server on which the c-entron web service is running.
The file name is determined by the available variables.

When connecting to a web service

The path must be configured so that the c-entron web service process on the server can access it.
It is also important to note that the c-entron web service typically runs in "service context." You may need to specify an alternative user in Windows Services so that the process can access the path.

The c-entron Web Service log file also records any errors that occur during this PDF export (such as if the folder does not exist, is read-only, or cannot be accessed).
By default, the log file is located at %programdata%\c-entron software gmbh\c-entron Web Service\Logs
Look for the lines where the logger is ReportDataBL is included.
If you set the log level to "info," the web service will also log an entry when the PDF export is successful.
