The following contract is to be mapped in c-entron

Initial situation

The requirement is a contract for the calculation and provision of a monthly quota of 4 hours, with a term of one year that automatically renews every 12 months thereafter. Unused quota shall not be carried over to the following month. The 4 hours may not be overbooked. The contract term and billing period begin on January 1, 2021. The contract is billed monthly in advance on the first day of each month. Billing must always be done on a separate invoice. For the 4 hours, an item with a quantity of 1 and a sales price of €399.99 plus VAT is to be billed. The quota applies to all sub-product groups within the “Services” product group that are defined as global in the settings. The creator/editor receives an entry in the to-do list 2 days before the contract billing is due. The invoice is sent via email.

The Contract

• First, create a [Contract] -> [New] for the desired customer.

• This is then assigned the appropriate contract type, in this case “Quota Contract” (1)

• To-do list items are saved under “Lead time for contract billing” -> “2 days” (2)

• Term: “April 1, 2026” (3) and scheduled end date: “1 year” (4)

• Contract renewal: “Automatic renewal for” “12 months” (5)

• The billing interval is “1 month” (6) and is paid in advance (7)

• Billing start date: “April 1, 2026” (8)

• The "automatic billing" setting (9) must be enabled

• The "Consolidated Invoice" property (10) must not be active

• The "Quota Contract" property (11) must be active

• The "Mail" shipping method (12) must be enabled

• The quota type must be “Hourly Quota” (13)

• The quota must be set to 4 hours (14)

• The "Overbooking allowed" property (15) must not be enabled

• The property "Carry over unused quotas to the following period" (16) must not be enabled

The contract type pre-fills the fields associated with it (1). The quantity (2) remains at 1 unit, as in the "Contract Type" template, while the price (3) is changed to €399.99:

The contract can now be billed as set up, effective April 1, 2026; the sub-product groups applicable to the contract are determined by the global settings
