Requirements for customer synchronization

Basic requirement:

The address master must be active (i.e., the account structure in Riversuite and c-entron).

You can check this with the following command:
--> SELECT ValueBool FROM ApplicationSettings WHERE ID = 10011 (the value must be 1 be)

Your RMM system user (on the Riverbird side) needs the rights "Edit customers" and "Create customer."

If necessary, also grant the system user the appropriate rights in c-entron (e.g., "Display customers?"). This depends on how c-entron processes requests from Riverbird.

Basic configuration:

The web service URL for c-entron must be stored in Riversuite.

The web service URL from the Riverbird web service must be stored in c-entron.

In the Riversuite, you must select the option "Synchronize customers" activate.

Requirements for device synchronization

All requirements for customer synchronization must be met.

Customer sync must be active.

The Riversuite Online (RSO) URL must be entered in the River Suite.

Customers must already have been synchronized—devices can only be linked if the customer already has a c-entron AccountID3D (in the Riverbird database in the ExternalAccountID3D field in the Accounts table). Otherwise, the logical reference is missing.

This is how synchronization works

Customer sync:

The first sync starts daily at 11:55 p.m. This process may take a little longer in some circumstances.

After that, the sync will run hourly and only applies the changes made since the last run.

You can find out when the last sync was with:
--> SELECT ValueDateTime FROM ApplicationSettings WHERE ID = 50421

Device sync:

For synchronized customers, device sync will occur every 45 minutes performed automatically.

You can also start the sync manually in the Riversuite settings—for each linked customer.

The following will be all devices always synchronizedthat are already linked to a customer.
