Interface to the IONOS AI Model Hub

General information

With the IONOS AI Model Hub, IONOS offers a Germany-hosted environment with open source AI models such as the Llama or Mistral series.

Hosted in Germany and with requests deleted directly from IONOS servers, this is a 100% GDPR-compliant AI solution. With our interface, you can harness the full potential of this product!

Requirements:

• At least version 2.0.2503.x

• The AI Integration License (free of charge until September 31, 2025, upon request)

• Your own access to cloud.ionos.com and the corresponding API key (see below for detailed instructions)
  Important note: Until September 31, 2025, IONOS is running a promotion whereby there are no costs for generating content. From October 1, 2025, standard generation costs will apply. Read more here:

Instructions for setting up the AI Model Hub at IONOS

The AI Model Hub is a product from IONOS. To obtain the API key for the interface in c-entron, you need your own account here.
There is a detailed description of this directly from IONOS.

Once you have generated your API key, you can store it in c-entron.NET in the next step.
Important note: Save your API key in a secure location, as it cannot be retrieved from IONOS.

Instructions for setting up the interface in c-entron.NET

With the API key from IONOS, you can now navigate to the global settings in c-entron.NET.
In the area Administration -> Artificial Intelligence -> AI connection you will find the following mask:

1. API type: Select IONOS as the interface here

2. API key: Enter your API key from IONOS here

3. Save: After entering the API key, save the settings so that they are written to the database.

4. / 5. Standard model: Click on the small reload icon in the standard model bar to get a live query of the available models. (The live query also makes new models provided by IONOS available immediately)
   Select the AI model to be used for AI integration in c-entron.NET and ServiceBoard.
   Important note: We recommend the model shown "meta-llama/Llama-3.3-70B-Instruct"other models can of course be selected, but our integration is based on the model mentioned!
   Since the field of AI is growing very dynamically and we would like to further expand AI functionalities in ServiceBoard and ERP, our recommendation regarding the appropriate models may change in the future.

After saving again, the selected model is ready and can be used in c-entron.NET and the ServiceBoard.
